It was another pitchers' duel in Region 8-AAAA on Tuesday in Danielsville as North Hall fell to Madison County 1-0.
Kendyl Chase threw a 57-pitch masterpiece over 6 innings in allowing only one hit and no walks, while also striking out two batters.
But Madison's Kelsey Wood matched Chase by surrendering three hits and one walk for Madison County.
Two first inning errors by North Hall led to Madison County's only run, which was unearned.
Kailee Dyer, Carson McCormack, and Logan Savage collected hits for North Hall.
The Lady Trojans play host to North Oconee on Thursday night for their final game of the regular season.
