GAINESVILLE - Publix is sponsoring a watermelon party Friday at Enota Multiple Intelligences Academy.

Each student will receive pieces of watermelson compliments of the Publix store on Thompson Bridge Road.  The a "BYB (Be Your Best) Success Goals Watermelon Party" will be held on the playground starting about 11:15.

Principal Wesley Roach has asked students to write down one or two success goals and two-to-five action steps to help kick off the school year. Across all six grade levels, students have been focusing on a watermelon writing theme and Roach has visited every classroom to emphasize the importance of hard work and setting goals which lead to the "sweet taste of success."

Publix's Assistant Store Manager, Chris Norton, agreed to donate 30 watermelons for Enota's "BYB Success Goals Watermelon Party."  During the celebration, students will recite the school's BYB Pledge and a few students will be asked to share their success goals and action steps they have set to reach those goals.
