Dahlonega bike, foot races to benefit Gainesville-based food bank

DAHLONEGA - The Dahlonega-Lumpkin Chamber of Commerce announces that the 2015 Six Gap Criterium (Crit) has expanded to include several different foot races on a USA Track & Field (USATF) certified course, all to benefit the Georgia Mountain Food Bank. The event lineup includes an Elite 5k, timed age group and fun run 5k, and a Briefcase Relay 5k all produced by Dingo Race Productions. 

“We look forward to growing this event and are excited about its potential to benefit an organization like the Georgia Mountain Food Bank, whose entire mission is to feed those in need,” said Betty Hodges, Partner, Dingo Race Productions Partner

“The events were created to attract all levels of runners and those interested in some team building and fun while helping a great cause,” said Betty Hodges, Dingo Race Productions Partner.

The events begin at 10am on Saturday, September 26 in downtown Dahlonega.
