GAINESVILLE—Hall County has its second positive rabies alert of the week, and fifth of the year.
According to a press release from Hall County, a dog had contact with the rabid raccoon in the Hardy Road area of North Hall.
The tests at the Georgia Public Health Lab in Decatur confirmed came back positive, and Hall County authorities were alerted Friday.
Positive alert signs have been posted in the area.
