By accessWDUN staff
LAWRENCEVILLE - Gwinnett County commissioners have changed the county's land-use plan to encourage technology and development companies to locate on a stretch of Highway 316.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reported that the portion of 316 runs from the Barrow County line to just east of Dacula.

The paper reported the Tuesday vote will change maps and planning documents to reflect the commission's desire for the area to become a research and development destination.

Also Tuesday, commissioners extended a moratorium on applications for new adult entertainment businesses through late October, according to the AJC.
