LULA — Marvin Moore will take over the Lula City Council post left vacant by the death this year of Mayor Pro-tem Vicky Chambers. Moore won the two-person special election by just eight votes Tuesday.
Only 38 voters showed up at the polls in Lula. Moore garnered 23 votes to Walter Harris' 15.
