CUMMING - A fatal accident on Bethelview Road, south of Kelly Mill Road, left the road shut down for four and half hours Friday.
Forsyth County Sheriff's Deputy Robin Regan said the wreck was a head on collision between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer.
"The driver of the passenger vehicle died on scene as a result of their injuries," said Regan. "There were no injuries to the driver of the tractor trailer."
The tractor-trailer was carrying fertilizer, and clean up of the accident and the non-hazardous spill took most of the afternoon. The road was reopened shortly after 6 p.m. Friday.
No charges are expected in the case.
Regan said he does not expect identities of those involved to be released until late in the weekend.
