Forsyth Co. deputies ID two separate fatal crash victims

CUMMING - Forsyth County authorities have released the identities in two fatal crashes that happened on Friday.

The first accident happed around 11:30 a.m. Friday on Keith Bridge Road near Leland Drive. Forsyth County Sheriff's Deputy Robin Regan said that 69-year-old Andrea Phebus of Cumming was killed in that wreck when 65-year-old Robert Carlson of Dahlonega crossed the centerline.

Carlson was transported to an area hospital and, at last report, was in stable condition. Regan said speed does not appear to be a factor, and the crash is under further investigation.

The second accident between a tractor-trailer and a Ford Fusion happened on Matt Highway at Doc Bramblett Road at 5:35 p.m.

Regan said the driver of the Ford, 29-year-old Natalie Barnard of Snoqualmie, WA, pulled onto Matt Highway in front of the tractor-trailer.

Barnard was killed in the crash, and her passenger, 19-year-old Rachel Beckstrom of Tooele, UT, was critically injured. The tractor-trailer driver, 70-year-old James Davis of Old Fort, TN, was not injured. No charges will be filed.
