LAWRENCEVILLE - Gwinnett County Police were searching for the man they believe shot a woman at a Lawrenceville apartment complex Friday evening.
According to the department, detectives identified the shooter as 27-year-old Sean Michael Harris of Lawrenceville.
Police responded to the call around 8:00 p.m. at The Preserve at Legacy Park Apartments on Legacy Park Drive. Despite being shot several times, authorities said the 18-year-old female victim is expected to survive. She was taken to an area hospital after first responders found her in the complex parking lot.
Police were obtaining arrest warrants for Harris Friday night and trying to find him.
