GAINESVILLE —The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia (HSNEGA) is now enrolling in the organization’s week-long Summer Day camps.
The camps, which will be held over four weeks during June and July, are a great learning opportunity for children 7 to 12 years old interested in working with animals. Camp is held daily from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. and registration fees include a camp t-shirt, training clicker, and craft materials.Children are asked to bring their own lunch, snacks and beverages.
The Camps provide children with “hands-on” experience working with HSNEGA’s adoptable animals as well as an age-appropriate curriculum of crafts and activities centered around animal themes and educational speakers such as animal control officers, wildlife specialists, wildlife trainers, and other guests.
Space is limited. For further information, or to register, visit the HSNEGA Website or contact our Education & Outreach Department by emailing [email protected] or calling 770-532-6617.
