MURRAYVILLE - A Lumpkin County man has been arrested as the result of a two-week long sex-sting investigation.
Brandon Jones, 26, of Dahlonega thought he was corresponding with a female under the age of sixteen according to Hall County Sheriff's Deputy Nicole Bailes.
In reality he was communicating on the social website with members of the Hall County Criminal Investigations Division.
Bailes said Jones arranged a meeting with the underage female for Tuesday at the Murrayville library with the intent of engaging in sexual activity.
"Deputies with the Crime Suppression Unit and investigators apprehended Jones upon his arrival at the library," Bailes said.
Jones was taken into custody without incident and is being held at the Hall County Jail without bond.
He has been charged with Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes.
