DEMOREST — The East Hall boys basketball team sprinted past Rabun County 84-63 on Monday in the Piedmont College Hardwood Classic in Demorest.
Tylor Brown put up 20 points to pace the Vikings, while Jaquen Hopkins added 19. Sedrion Morse also scored 13, and Triston Cooper put up 12.
Matthew Addis scored 19 for Rabun, while Trey Wilcox and Ethan Dickerson each scored 15.
East Hall jumped out to a 23-7 first quarter lead that extended to 48-26 at the half.
The win moved East Hall into the tournament championship game where the Vikings will take on Lakeview at 8:30 p.m. in Demorest.
