COAL MOUNTAIN — The Flowery Branch girls basketball team played their way into the championship game of the North Forsyth Thanksgiving tournament on Monday courtesy a 58-48 win over West Forsyth in Coal Mountain.
The Lady Falcons (2-0) trailed 38-34 after three quarters but outscored the Lady Wolverines 24-10 down the stretch.
Breanna Locke scored 16 points to lead Flowery Branch, while Julianne Sutton added 14.
The Lady Falcons will play in the tournament’s title game at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Coal Mountain.
