Saturday night was a big one for Toccoa, Ga.’s Casey Roberts.
Roberts scored his third straight “Race for the Kids” victory in the Ultimate Super Late Model Series season finale at County Line Raceway in Elm City, N.C.
The win also wrapped up the 2015 series championship for Roberts, who pocketed a cool $10,000 paycheck at the end of the night.
Russell Erwin set fast time in qualifying, touring the 3/8 mile clay oval in 14.432 seconds.
Once the race was underway, Roberts navigated his way to the lead, and held off all comers to pocket the victory.
Jackie Boggs finished in second, with Dennis Franklin in third, Walker Arthur in fourth and Dustin Mitchell in fifth.
Chad Hollenbeck, Russell Erwin, Jeff Smith, Donald Bradsher and Casey Barrow rounded out the top ten.
