The Piedmont College women's basketball team is coming off a 19-7 campaign in which they made their second-straight appearance in the USA South postseason Tournament, picking up wins over in-state non-conference foes Berry and Emory as well.
The Lady Lions, under Jamie Purdy, have three GSAC titles and will see their first USA South title this year since joining the league prior to the 2012-2013 season.
Purdy was on the Nov. 16 edition of Game On with Katie B. Davis to preview the upcoming season.
