Two charged after shots fired at Cleveland Walmart overnight

CLEVELAND - Two people from Cleveland have been charged in connection with an incident where shots were fired at Cleveland  Walmart early Friday  morning. 

Cleveland Police Chief John Foster said by email it was a domestic-type incident. 

Foster said 23-year-old Jeremiah Vanderhorst  and 36-year/old Misty Vanderhorst, both from Jamestown Drive in Cleveland, have been charged in connection with the incident. 

Jeremiah Vanderhorst is charged with criminal trespass and carrying a concealed weapon without a license. 

Misty Vanderhorst is charged with reckless conduct for discharging a firearm in public and criminal damage to property, Foster said. 

Both had been drinking and  were armed and Misty Vanderhorst fired a weapon hitting an employee's vehicle and Jeremiah Vanderhorst's vehicle, Foster said. 

 There were no serious injuries as a result of the incident, Foster said.
