The Jefferson volleyball team advanced to the state tournament on Friday via a 25-14, 26-24 win over rival East Jackson in the Area 8-AAA tournament.
Abby Wood had 8 kills and 10 digs to lead the Lady Dragons, while Lindsey Nilsen had 6 kills. Madison Corbett had 16 asists.
Jefferson next faces Oconee County at 11:45 a.m. Saturday in The Arena at Jefferson.
