GAINESVILLE—No residents took the podium to speak for or against a proposed tax increase in the city.
Gainesville is proposing a millage rate rollback from 3.02 mills to 2.98, which is not revenue neutral from FY 2015.
Another public hearing is set for Tuesday, October 6 at 5:30 p.m. at the Gainesville Public Safety Complex on Queen City Parkway.
