Maysville house destroyed by fire

MAYSVILLE - Jackson County authorities said a house on Plainview Road in Maysville was destroyed by fire late Tuesday night.<br /> <br /> EMS Director Steve Nichols said in an email statement that units from Plainview, Maysville,and the Jackson County CI Fire Departments responded to the scene around 11 p.m.<br /> <br /> Nichols said the house was unoccupied at the time. He said an investigation is underway to determine what sparked the fire.<br /> <br /> One firefighter sustained a minor injury when he got debris in his eye; he was treated at the scene by EMS personnel.<br /> <br />
