Firefighters monitor recycling blaze in Marietta

MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) Firefighters were monitoring a recycling yard near Marietta after a blaze sent smoke billowing. <br /> <br /> WSB-TV reports the fire apparently started Saturday near a conveyor belt at Marietta Recycling, about two miles north of Marietta Square. <br /> <br /> Firefighters say they are not sure what started the fire. The complex had been closed for the holiday weekend. <br /> <br /> Authorities expected to spend the night at the facility to make sure there were no flare ups.
