Laurel Park Summer Fest today, tomorrow

GAINESVILLE - The two-day Laurel Park Summer Fest begins today at the Hall County Park off Cleveland Highway.<br /> <br /> It will feature music, fireworks, barbecue, a 5K Mud Run, craft and food vendors, a beer and wine garden, helicopter tours, games and activities for children and more.<br /> <br /> The cost of admittance is $10, with no charge for children under 12.<br /> <br /> Proceeds from the event benefit the Hall County Animal Shelter's Adoption Programs and the Gainesville Jaycees' Gut Check program and Empty Stocking Fund.<br /> <br /> In addition, a raffle will be held to raise funds for the three Hall County firefighters who were injured during a training exercise on July 22.<br /> <br /> For more information, you can click on the link below.
