Toccoa Falls College has new mascot

TOCCOA FALLS - Toccoa Falls College has changed its mascot to the Screaming Eagles.<br /> <br /> The school now shares its mascot name with a group of legendary Screaming Eagles with ties to the Toccoa area. <br /> <br /> During World War II, "Easy Company," the 2nd Battalion of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne trained at Camp Toccoa. These Screaming Eagles called Camp Toccoa home during their training days. Their story was told in the television series, "Band of Brothers."
