Volleyball: Lakeview girls sweep Johnson, Shiloh

The Lakeview Academy volleyball team swept Johnson (25-9, 25-14) and Shiloh (25-14, 25-16) on Thursday in Oakwood. <br /> <br /> Katie White had 7 kills and 10 digs to led the Lady Lions, while Katie Gay had 5 kills and 11 digs. Peaches Shipley had 5 kills, 4 aces and a block; Delaney Jarrett had 9 assists and a 13 point service run with four aces; Bailey Towles added 8 assists and 7 aces.<br /> <br /> The Lady Knights (5-13) went on to fall to Shiloh as well (20-25, 25-22, 18-25). <br /> <br /> Grace Eidson had 16 assists and 8 digs digs on the day, while Brooke Balenger had 2 kills and 2 digs. Brittany Barker also 2 kills; Cassie McDonald had 2 kills and 2 digs; Jenny Barrett 5 aces and 3 digs; Jessica Panter also had 6 kills.<br /> <br /> Johnson plays again on Sept. 4 at Lumpkin County. <br /> <br /> Lakeview plays at George Walton on Sept. 4.
