Only one candidate qualifies for special Clermont city election

CLERMONT - Only one person qualified for the special city council election in Clermont in November.<br /> <br /> Eric Thomas signed up Wednesday, the final day of qualifying.<br /> <br /> The 46-year-old Thomas is the owner of Eric Thomas Trucking Company.<br /> <br /> The special election was scheduled several weeks ago after councilwoman Debra Armour submitted her resignation in May.
