CARROLLTON, Ga. (AP) -- Additional arrests have been made in the death of a 13-year-old boy who was fatally shot in his bedroom.

Carrollton police Capt. Chris Dobbs tells the Atlanta Journal-Constitution 21-year-old Kenneth Wheat and 24-year-old Jackquline Freeman have been charged with murder in the death of Nizzear Rodriguez. Police also say 34-year-old Oledia Ward has been charged with making false statements. It's unclear if they have attorneys.

A 17-year-old boy was also arrested earlier this week on charges of murder, burglary and possession of a firearm by a felon in the teen's death. Police say it's unclear which suspect pulled the trigger.
