Fire does heavy damage to Flowery Branch garage

FLOWERY BRANCH - No one was hurt as a mid-morning fire caused heavy damage to a garage in Flowery Branch Tuesday.<br /> <br /> Hall County Fire Marshal Scott Cagle said the remainder of the 1800 square foot two-story rental house on Deer Ridge Court sustained smoke damage. He said damage estimates were between $175,000 and $65,000.<br /> <br /> Cagle said it appears the fire started on the back wall of the garage. Investigators believe it was accidental.<br /> <br /> One person was home at the time of the 9:06 a.m. fire.
