Gainesville man arrested for allegedly manufacturing, distributing pot

GAINESVILLE - 35-year-old Daniel Wertz of Gainesville faces charges of possession of marijuana and manufacturing marijuana with intent to distribute.<br /> <br /> According to a press release from the Gainesville/Hall County Multi Agency Narcotics Squad, agents recovered approximately four ounces of marijuana along with scales, packaging materials, and three marijuana plants from the house on Antioch Trail on Saturday.<br /> <br /> The charges were brought down Monday.<br /> <br /> The street value of the drugs is estimated at $6,800.<br /> <br /> Wertz is currently being held in the Hall County jail.
