Suwanee City Council to hold final public hearings on proposed millage rate

SUWANEE - On Tuesday, August 26, the Suwanee City Council will hold its final two public hearings on the proposed 2014 millage rate.<br /> <br /> The first meeting will be at noon, with the final meeting following at 6:30 p.m.<br /> <br /> The proposed rate is 4.93 mills, the same rate for the FY 2015 budget, and the same as the last two years.<br /> <br /> Citizens will have a chance to give their comments on the millage rate at both meetings.<br /> <br /> A vote is expected at the 6:30 meeting.<br /> <br /> Both meetings are at Suwanee City Hall, located in the Suwanee Town Center.
