Gainesville VFW Auxiliary to host horseless rodeo

GAINESVILLE - The Ladies Auxiliary for Veterans of Foreign War Post 8452, Gainesville, will be hosting a horseless rodeo Saturday Sept. 6, at Riverside Military Academy..<br /> <br /> All proceeds from the event will go toward the support of local veterans of foreign wars and their families via the Ladies Auxiliary and the VFW Post 8452.<br /> <br /> The horseless rodeo will be made up of 12 teams competing in two age divisions: six teams for ages 12-20 and six for ages 21 and older. <br /> <br /> Admission is free and there will be door prize drawings all day and a silent auction with a variety of items donated by local businesses. Concessions will be available.
