11 members of LCKC headed to Poland for Dragon Boat World Championships

GAINESVILLE - Eleven north Georgia athletes - all members of the Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club (LCKC) - are preparing to leave for Poland and the International Canoe Federation Dragon Boat World Championships.<br /> <br /> The group makes up better than ten percent of the Dragon Boat USA team, according to Jim O'Dell, Regional coach, Dragon Boat USA.<br /> <br /> The eleven are:<br /> <br /> from Gainesville - Anastasia Haack, Anna Crawford, Macy Dwyer, Michael Olson, Jim O'Dell<br /> <br /> from Cumming - Laurie Moore, Dustin Grattan, Tyler Martin<br /> <br /> from Hoschton - Cannie Ash<br /> <br /> from Woodstock - Sean Allen<br /> <br /> from Marietta - Charlie Tilse<br /> <br />
