Gospel music group with NE Ga. ties garners 4 Dove Award nominations

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Multi-award winning Gospel artists Karen Peck and New River have received a total of four 2014 Dove Award nominations.<br /> <br /> The nominations were announced recently at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn. <br /> <br /> The group, which has ties to Gainesville and Dahlonega, was nominated for four Dove awards as a group including Song of the Year "Revival," Southern Gospel Performance of the Year "Revival," Southern Gospel Album of the Year "Revival" and Southern Gospel Song of the Year "Revival." Peck is up for two additional Dove nominations as co-writer of the song.<br /> <br /> "Revival" has been a huge success this year for not only the group, but also for the three writers of the song, Kenna Turner West, Karen Peck Gooch and Don Poythress.
