CLEVELAND - Police have released details of a rampage by a Hall County man in Cleveland Wednesday night. <br />

Cleveland Police Chief John Foster said, "Brandon Douglas Watkins age 20 of Bogus Road in Hall County allegedly stole a vehicle in Hall county last evening and then later abandoned that vehicle and allegedly stole a red Chevrolet Silverado 2500 pickup also in Hall County." <br />

According to Chief Foster, Watkins drove that truck to White Hall Commons apartment complex on Bryant Street in Cleveland, where he struck several vehicles. <br />
<br />
The subject left there and hit another vehicle at the end of Bryant Street. <br />
<br />
According to Foster, he then proceeded to Domino's Pizza in the Village Plaza, where he attempted to carjack two vehicles with female victims inside. <br />
<br />
Foster said, "One of the female's boyfriend was actually in Domino's and came out and got into an altercation with Watkins." <br />
<br />
He said the boyfriend was able to subdue Watkins, but when he let him up, Watkins raced to the stolen truck, making several attempts to run over the man, who ran into Domino's. <br />
<br />
That's when Watkins ran the truck backwards into the front of Domino's.<br />
<br />
There were employees in the business, but Foster said, luckily, no one was hurt. <br />
<br />
Then the subject left the scene and was met by Cleveland Police officers who pursued him back to White Hall Commons.<br />
<br />
That's where Watkins hit two additional vehicles, disabling the truck he was driving. <br />
<br />
He then fled on foot, but officers were able to nab him after a short foot chase. <br />
<br />
Watkins was arrested and taken to the White County Detention Center. <br />
<br />
Chief Foster said Watkins faces numerous charges, including aggravated assault, obstruction of a law enforcement officer, reckless driving, DUI and being in the possession of un-taxed paid whiskey.<br />
<br />
According to Foster, Watkins also faces charges in Hall County in connection with the alleged auto thefts that occurred there.<br />
<br />
Watkins was believed to be out on bond from charges filed in White County earlier, Chief Foster said he did not know what those charges were.
