Lanier Islands receives Southern Living

LAKE LANIER ISLANDS - Lake Lanier Islands has been awarded Southern Living magazine's Hotel Collection Distinction.<br /> <br /> As an extension of the magazine devoted to celebrating the "best of life in the South," The Southern Living Hotel Collection is a compilation of Four- and Five-Star independent resorts, hotels and inns in eleven states that are dedicated to "offering the finest in authentic Southern travel, hospitality and experience."<br /> <br /> Other destinations that have been tapped for the honor include the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina and the historic Keswick Hall in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Charlottesville, Virginia.
