BRASELTON - Jackson County officials say an early morning fire that destroyed a home Wednesday remained under investigation.<br />
According to Jackson County Emergency Services Director Steve Nichols, firefighters responded at 4:18 a.m. to 94 Ednaville Circle and found the single-family residence in flames.<br />
Nichols said the house was unoccupied and was a total loss. No one was injured.<br />
Firefighters from West Jackson, North Jackson, and the Jackson County Correctional Institute fire departments remained on the scene until 10:44 a.m. <br />
The West Jackson Fire Department and State Fire Marshall's Office are handling the investigation.
