FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Jefferson girls volleyball team went an impressive 4-1 Saturday at the Battle of the Branch tournament at the Flowery Branch gym.<br />
The Lady Dragons finished as the Silver Bracket champion. They opened with a 25-9, 25-8 win over Salem and then knocked off Gainesville 25-22, 24-26, 15-11 in a close three-set match. They suffered their only loss Sandy Creek in three sets.<br />
In the Silver bracket playoffs Jefferson faced Gainesville for a second time and took a 25-20, 25-15 win and then knocked host Flowery Branch 25-19, 27-25 in the Silver Bracket championship.​
