Over a dozen arrested in Forsyth Co. probation sweep

CUMMING - Sixteen people have been arrested in Forsyth County this week for probation violations, and additional warrants were issued to two others during a probation sweep.<br /> <br /> Members of the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, the Georgia Department of Corrections and the Cumming Felony Probation Office went in groups to check on probationers in the county this week, according to Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Deputy Robin Regan.<br /> <br /> Regan said in a release that on Monday, the officers visited six sex offenders. "Three of those six were arrested Monday night, and a fourth was arrested afterwards," said Regan.<br /> <br /> On Wednesday, 12 of 25 felons were re-arrested following their probation checks. An additional warrant was taken out on a 13th and a 14th person that was not on probation was also arrested, according to Regan.<br /> <br /> "The range of violations come from drug violations, possession of alcohol, which they're not allowed while they're on probation, on person was in possession of ammunition for a weapon, which is not allowed while you're on probation and some other things," said Regan. "One of the sex offenders was in possession of pornography which is definitely a violation for a sex offender who is on probation."<br /> <br /> A total of 16 people were arrested in the probation sweep, with additional warrants taken out on two others. Regan provided a list of names and charges. The list is in its entirety as follows:<br /> <br /> *Erik Walter Lottes was arrested for violating the terms of his probation. On probation for six counts of sexual exploitation of a child, and is a sex offender.<br /> <br /> *Quincy Lamar Hudson was arrested for violating the terms of his probation. On probation for possession of narcotics, and is a sex offender.<br /> <br /> *Christopher Thomas Barnes was arrested for violating the terms of his probation. On probation for sexual battery on a minor, and is a sex offender.<br /> <br /> *Brian Keith Pfannkuche was told to report to the Hall County probation office for violating the terms of his probation; however he did not and a warrant has been filed for his arrest. He is on probation for three counts of forgery and is a sex offender.<br /> <br /> *Joel Ellis was arrested for violating the terms of his probation. On probation for possession of methamphetamines and aggravated assault.<br /> <br /> *Samantha Swaim was arrested for violating the terms of her probation. On probation for possession of marijuana and opiates.<br /> <br /> *Angela Frady was arrested for possession of Alprazolam. The next day her boyfriend, James Lewis, who was on probation, turned himself in to the probation office for violating the terms of his probation. He is a registered sex offender.<br /> <br /> *Justyn Sullivan was arrested for possession of marijuana, more than an ounce, and violating the terms of his probation. Sullivan was on probation for burglary and theft by taking. Donald Sullivan, his father, is also on probation for theft by taking, theft by shoplifting, and felony obstruction. At this point, he has not reported to probation.<br /> <br /> *Daryl Manders was arrested for violating the terms of his probation. He is on probation for sale of hydrocodone.<br /> <br /> *Tyler Shambarger was arrested for possession of marijuana less than an ounce and violating the terms of his probation. On probation for possession of Opiates.<br /> <br /> *Teresa Martin was arrested for violating the terms of her probation. She is on probation for possession of <br /> methamphetamines.<br /> <br /> *William Handley was arrested for violating the terms of his probation. He is on probation for fraud and theft by receiving stolen property.<br /> <br /> *Kerry Bates was arrested for possession of a schedule II narcotic and violating the terms of his probation. He is on probation for burglary and theft by receiving stolen property. <br /> <br /> *Douglas Chadwick was arrested for violating the terms of his probation. He is on probation for possession of methamphetamines and two counts of burglary.<br /> <br /> *Michael Summerlin was arrested for possession of marijuana less than an ounce and violating the terms of his probation. He is on probation for possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of opiates<br /> <br /> *Marco Todorovic was arrested at the probation office for violating the terms of his probation to include testing positive on a drug screen. He is on probation for possession of Opiates.
