GAINESVILLE - The filming that was expected to cause delays in both Hall County and Jackson County has been pushed back to another day.

Teri Pope, spokeswoman for the Georgia Department of Transportation, says a techincal issue prevented the film crews from shooting their scenes today.

"[It] did not occur as planned because they had technical difficulties with their cameras," said Pope.

Pope said the locations included are State Route 53 (Dawsonville Highway) over the Chattahoochee River portion of Lake Lanier in Gainesville, also over the Chestatee River portion at the Hall/Forsyth County line, and State Route 11/US 129 (Jefferson Bypass) from Galilee Church Road in Jefferson to Park Street in Arcade.

On Dawsonville Highway, traffic from Lake Ranch Court to Marina Drive near the Chattahoochee River portion and traffic from Dogwood Path to Little Hall Road will be slowed.

"The plan is to start at the bridges and let them get what they need and then to move to Jefferson," said Pope.
The upcoming movie, "Goosebumps" stars Jack Black.
