BUFORD - As the days grow shorter and fall approaches, thoughts of some people are already turning to what has become an autumn staple in north Georgia: the corn maze.<br />
The Buford Corn Maze has announced plans to open for the 2014 season on Aug. 30.<br />
The five-acre site is located on Friendship Road and attracted about 20,000 visitors last fall. It will be open through Nov. 16 with activities on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through September before adding Mondays and Wednesdays in October.<br />
