Jackson Co. fire department, others, battle early morning house fire

NICHOLSON - An early morning house fire in Nicholson has ruled the cause as undetermined.<br /> <br /> According to a press release from Jackson County Emergency Services Director Steve Nichols, crews from Jackson County, Nicholson and Commerce Fire Departments responded to a home on Cooper Farm Road just before midnight. <br /> <br /> When they arrived, the house had heavy smoke and fire showing. The interior of the home was heavily damaged. <br /> <br /> Reports showed that no one was living in the home at the time, and no injuries were reported. <br /> <br /> The cause of the fire has been listed as undetermined but is still under investigation by the Nicholson Fire Department.<br />
