GDOL to host VA's Mobile Vet Center July 31 in Cornelia

ATLANTA -- The Georgia Department of Labor's (GDOL) Habersham Career Center will host the Mobile Vet Center on Thursday, July 31, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Cornelia. The Mobile Vet Center is a 38-foot mobile counseling center for veterans. It is a service of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) office in Lawrenceville. <br /> <br /> The mobile counseling center will be in the parking lot at the career center, located at 205 Hodges St. in Cornelia. It provides a wide range of counseling, outreach, and referral services to veterans and their families to help them make readjustments to civilian life. <br /> <br /> For additional information about the event, contact the GDOL's Habersham Career Center at (706) 776-0811. <br /> <br /> GDOL provides a wide range of employment-related services to help veterans find jobs and career paths. A list of GDOL career centers may be found on the department's web site at www.gdol.ga.gov
