Authorities still investigating on one-year anniversary of fatal hit-and-run

WINDER - Sunday marks the one year anniversary of a fatal hit-and-run incident that is still under investigation by the Barrow County Sheriff's Office.<br /> <br /> On July 13, 2013, Deborah Burton was walking along Manning Ginn Road towards Highway 53 when she was struck and killed by an unknown driver that was traveling in the same direction, according to Lt. Matt Guthas in a press release.<br /> <br /> Lt. Guthas says the Sheriff's Office and the State Patrol are looking for a late model 1980's or early 1990's GM vehicle in connection with the incident.<br /> <br /> Anyone with information about the accident or the driver is encouraged to contact the Barrow County Sheriff's Office at 770-307-3080, ext. 4643.<br />
