Creel, Gibbs named to state boards

ATLANTA - The new superintendent of Gainesville City Schools and Hall County Commissioner Scott Gibbs have been named to separate state boards by Gov. Nathan Deal.<br /> <br /> Wanda G. Creel was appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Teachers Retirement System of Georgia. Gibbs was named by the governor to serve on the state Board of Community Affairs.<br /> <br /> Deal also reappointed Bill Sloan of Gainesville, a retired Hall County educator, to Board of Trustees of the Georgia Teacher Retirement System.
