Hall Co. posts undeliverable 'change of assessments' notices

By Ken Stanford Reporter
GAINESVILLE - Hall County officials have posted a list of property assessment notices that the Postal Service says it was unable to deliver.

The notices were mailed several weeks ago. County officials say every attempt has been made to determine the correct mailing address and in some cases the notices were re-mailed only to have some returned again.

The list is posted on the county's Website (click on the link below) and includes "all those assessment notices which have been returned so far and considered undeliverable."

In accordance with state law, the list is also posted on the third floor of the Hall County Courthouse.
