Man's body pulled from Lake Allatoona

ACWORTH, Ga. (AP) Authorities say the body of a man who drowned in a north Georgia lake has been recovered. <br /> <br /> State Department of Natural Resources officials say a man jumped into Lake Allatoona Saturday and never resurfaced. <br /> <br /> Georgia Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division spokesman Mark McKinnon tells the Atlanta Journal-Constitution the man has been identified as 27-year-old Varun Krishnamurthy of India. <br /> <br /> The man's body was recovered Saturday evening, authorities have said the man dove into the Tanyard Creek portion of the lake. <br />
