Ballet performance at Brenau to showcase dancers, renowned choreographers

GAINESVILLE - The International Ballet Summer Intensive Program will present a dance performance at Hosch Theatre on the Brenau University campus on Saturday June 28 at noon.<br /> <br /> The performance showcases the talent of dancers who have completed three weeks of study with world-renowned faculty from the Paris Opera Ballet, National Opera and Ballet of Bulgaria, American Ballet Theatre amongst others.<br /> <br /> This year's concert features students performing classical male and female variations from the ballets Giselle, Carnival in Venice, Sylvia and Etudes. Other works on the program include a contemporary ballet, a student choreographed improvisational work and a modern and jazz work.<br /> <br /> No reserved seating.
