No sign of missing Gilmer Co. man since Sunday night

ELLIJAY - Gilmer County authorities have released a new photo of an Alzheimer's patient who has been missing since late Sunday night, hoping the public can help find Earl Townsend.<br /> <br /> According to published information from the Gilmer County Sheriff's Office, search crews re-established a command center Tuesday morning as they continued efforts to find the 68-year-old Townsend. <br /> <br /> Townsend, who goes by the nick-name 'Tater', was last seen in the Ridgeway Church Road area, about 12 miles outside of Ellijay off Highway 282.<br /> <br /> Authorities have used K-9 units and the Georgia State Patrol helicopter in their search efforts.<br /> <br /> Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Townsend is asked to call the Gilmer County Sheriff's Office or 911.<br /> <br />
