Gainesville High teammates Spencer Ralston and Nathan Williams got off to a strong start in the Georgia State Golf Association's Junior Championship at Brunswick Country Club in Brunswick. <br />
Ralston fired a 3-under-par 69 and Williams a 2-under-par 70 on Monday in the first round of the Junior Championship. <br />
Ralston is currently tied for second place, one shot behind leader Mark David Johnson, Jr. of St. Simons Island. Williams is tied for sixth place. <br />
Garrett Rowland of Cleveland also opened with an 81. <br />
Play will continue Tuesday and Wednesday in Brunswick to decide the annual 54-hole GSGA Junior Championship. <br />
