Rally planned in Dahlonega for Democratic gubernatorial candidate

The Democratic candidate for governor plans a rally later this month in Dahlonega, in a heavily Republican part of the state and in the "backyard" of the incumbent, Republican Nathan Deal.<br /> <br /> The "Jason Carter for Governor Rally" is set for Saturday, June 21, at Hancock Park.<br /> <br /> Organizers say other candidates for office in Georgia will be featured as well.<br /> <br /> Hosted by the Lumpkin and Dawson county Democratic parties, the four-hour event will begin at 10:00.
