Gainesville shooting suspect remains at large

GAINESVILLE - A few more details emerged Tuesday afternoon in last week's shooting incident on West Avenue in Gainesville.<br /> <br /> The victim is listed as Cedric Huff, 41, according to a Gainesville Police Department incident report.<br /> <br /> Last week, Gainesville Police Corporal Kevin Holbrook said responding officers found the victim shot in the abdomen Thursday afternoon. He was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center where he underwent surgery at some point.<br /> <br /> Tuesday afternoon, Holbrook said he didn't have an updated condition on the victim.<br /> <br /> Police earlier said the shooting happened during an altercation and that the two people apparently knew one another.<br /> <br /> The suspect remained at large Tuesday, according to Holbrook. <br /> <br /> According to the incident report, the suspect vehicle is described as a small two-door white pickup truck. The report describes the suspect only as a black man.
