Motorcycle racer loses life in Road Atlanta crash

BRASELTON - A Dallas motorcycle racer lost his life in a crash during a race at Road Atlanta Saturday afternoon.<br /> <br /> According to Hall County Sheriff's Deputy Nicole Bailes, the 29 year old man was participating in the WERA Cycle Jam motorcycle race at the Braselton road course when he had difficulty changing gears. This caused him to lose control of his motorcycle, sending him into a concrete barrier.<br /> <br /> The man was transported to Barrow Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Bailes said the man's name is being withheld pending notification of family members.<br />
